New Hope offers a wide range of classes on a quarterly schedule.  Most classes run from 6-11 weeks. You must be a member to register for the class and membership fees of $35 are collected on a yearly basis.

To promote accessibility we offer  a transport service for $2 round trip Monday and Wednesdays of the week. Please contact Evita at 514 484 0425 ex 225 or to for more information and to register for a ride.

For payment please make your checks out to
New Hope Senior Citizens Centre or bring your cash and  your proof of booster to your first class.

This class is an excellent way for seniors to gain strength through core balance. Lead by a certified Kinesiologist this program focuses on muscles that provide balance.

Exercise With Carole

$20 for 11 week sessions or $2 per class.
This a an uplifting low impact exercise class using the chair for assistance and balance.

This yoga class is wonderful way to deepen your yoga practice or as an introduction to practice. All positions are on the mat and you must have mobility to get up and down without assistance.

Beginner Tai Chi with Heather:
Tuesday June 14- August 30  11:15-12:15
$30 for 10 week session
This Tai Chi class is a wonderful introduction to the Tai Chi practice. No experience necessary.

Advanced Tai Chi with Heather:
Tuesday and Thursday June 14- September 1

$30 for on day and $55 for both days

10 week session
For people who have already been practicing Tia chi.

Mindful Walking

Thursday June 23- August 22   9:30-10:30

25$ for 8 week the session.

Take a spirited walk around NDG working on techniques to reduce stress and promote mobility. Must be able to walk 20 mins without resting.

Chair Yoga with Giovanna:
Thursday June 23- August 22   1:00pm -2:00pm
25$ for 8 week the session.
This yoga classes uses the chair as tool to deepen poses and provide support. This class is an excellent introduction to yoga, no experience necessary.
