Welcome to New Hope’s Programming hub! We offer an exciting mix of on‑site and off‑site activities designed to enrich mind, body, and community.
Day Programming
Exclusively for members ($35/year), our Day Programming features two community lunches every Monday and Wednesday at a nominal fee—and our wonderful volunteers provide transport to and from the centre for participants with mobility challenges. Courses run before and after lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays, and continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays (when no lunch is offered), spanning 6–10 weeks across art, wellness, language, movement, and more. Special Programming
Special Programming brings together a range of funded initiatives—and supports our two signature fundraisers: the Walk for Hope each spring and the Harvest Supper Fundraiser each fall.
Funded by the CHSSN, the Senior Wellness Initiative brings free, twice‑monthly workshops to New Hope—no membership required (registration compulsory). Learn more here.
In partnership with the NDG Food Depot, the QADA Project delivers a subsidized fruit & veggie mini‑market in each of the five NDG HLMs twice a month, alongside health‑focused activities—details here.
Our Full Circle Garden Project teams seniors with Concordia students in an intergenerational garden to boost food security, foster exchange, and support our kitchen and organic basket program. Discover our partners and project goals here.
