Our Mission

New Hope Senior Citizens’ Centre is a grassroots non-profit community organization serving the senior population of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (N.D.G.).

New Hope aspires to provide a friendly environment where seniors can thrive through a variety of social and community-based services and activities.

By promoting access to volunteering, civic involvement, and other services, New Hope aims to break isolation and foster global health of the community, benefiting the overall well-being of the ageing population.

The New Hope Senior Citizens Center is entering an exciting period of growth and expansion, and we are inviting dedicated community members to join our Board of Directors.

As we expand our programs and services, we are looking for individuals who want to play an active role in helping guide our center’s future. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute your experience, insight, and passion for supporting older adults in our community.

What Board Members Do

– Offer ideas, experience, and community perspective
– Support responsible growth and sustainability
– Attend board meetings and work collaboratively with fellow members

Previous board experience is not required—we value a willingness to learn, participate, and support our mission.
