Full Circle Garden: Partnership with mind.heart.mouth at Concordia Layola Campus.
Seed to Plate!
Through this partnership, members of New Hope experience a multitude of benefits that enrich their lives in various ways. They have the opportunity to actively engage by volunteering in the cultivation of food, contributing to its growth and development. Moreover, the fruits of their labor manifest in the form of a weekly bountiful basket delivery, ensuring access to fresh and nutritious produce.
Beyond the harvest, these wholesome ingredients find their way to the heart of the community. They grace the tables of our bi weekly community lunches, bringing people together to share not only a meal but also stories, connections, and camaraderie. Additionally, the impact of this partnership extends even further through our Meals on Wheels program and weekly baskets of vegetables are delivered directly to those who may face challenges in accessing nourishing food.
This collaboration transcends the boundaries of mere sustenance. It symbolizes a thriving ecosystem of support, where each contribution, whether in the fields or at the table, reinforces the bonds within our community. Through shared efforts and shared meals, this partnership with New Hope embodies the essence of solidarity, compassion, and a commitment to the well-being of all its members.
